My process for move-up buyers

Your next home should fix what's not working in this one.

More space, a better layout, a bigger lot, a different location? I'll help you define the upgrade and coordinate the move from one house to the next.

   Figure out what you're fixing. What works in your current home, what doesn't, and what has to change.

   Plan the buy and the sell. Timing two deals is the tricky part. We map out how your purchase lines up with your sale.

   Narrow the search. We focus on homes that give you the upgrade you're after, at a cost you're comfortable with.

   Make sure it addresses what you're fixing. More square footage isn't automatically better. We look at layout, condition, storage, amenities, and the projects you'd be taking on.

   Negotiate and keep both deals on track. I manage inspections, repairs, loan milestones, and deadlines on both sides.

6. 6

   Close and move. I coordinate the walkthrough, closing, and move-in date. If the new place needs work first, I know people.
